As my friends and past clients know, I have always been drawn to history. Contemporary hotels and modern venues, while beautiful in their own right, simply don’t inspire me in the same way. I prefer to work with couples who feel the same way about history, architecture, and romance.

A Love for Historic Venues, From the U.S. to Europe
Even when I lived in the United States, I was always inclined toward historic venues. My favorite places to shoot weddings were those that offered an air of timelessness. One of my all-time favorite locations was Rosecliff Mansion in Newport, Rhode Island—a place that feels like stepping into another era. In Miami, where I spent several years, I was drawn to historic gems like Vizcaya Museum and Gardens and the Versace Mansion. Despite the beauty of Miami’s beaches and modern skyline, I found myself traveling to New York City frequently, where the architecture and historical significance of venues perfectly aligned with my vision. I preferred New York City for its abundance of timeless venues, which better matched my aesthetic preferences and creative approach to wedding photography.
Founding Castle Weddings in Europe
After returning to Europe, I took my passion for historic weddings to the next level by co-founding Castle Wedding, a wedding agency specializing in castle and chateau weddings across Central Europe. Europe, of course, offers an unparalleled range of historic venues, from majestic castles to charming manor houses and romantic villas. Each venue tells a different story, and I love capturing the magic of these places through my lens.
