Rosecliff Mansion Wedding | Melissa and Anthony

This Rosecliff Mansion Wedding was one big adventure. Still from July 2 this year.

I’ve never been to Rhode Island before, and I heard it’s beautiful there, so I had my flight to get there in the afternoon to be able to enjoy it a little bit. I’m not gonna write the entire craziness here, but I got to the hotel room at 4 am. And, of course, I had to wake up at 8 am!

The wedding day was gorgeous. Hot summer and a lot of sun. We started at The Chanler at Cliff Walk for girls getting ready. Its historic mansion turned into an elegant and charming Newport hotel. Definitely more than a gorgeous backdrop for getting ready pictures.

The Guys were getting ready at the couple’s house. Then we took our special bus-train, and we all met by the church. Well, not any kind of church, but St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church in Newport. The same church where Jacqueline Bouvier and J.F. Kennedy got married in 1953. Beautiful piece of history!

On our way from the church to the venue, we stopped by the Gurney’s in Newport to take a few portrait pictures and videos. The most beautiful was, of course, the main wedding venue for the reception. Rosecliff Mansion. The huge mansion where Jay Gatsby (Robert Redford) hosts his extravagant, jazz-age parties. Rosecliff is one of the Gilded Age mansions of Newport, Rhode Island, now open to the public as a historic house museum.

The wedding was spectacular, and you can see here at least a few images. If you are a bride-to-be and want to see more, call or message me. I will send a link. And, of course, I would appreciate the comments below. What an awesome Rosecliff Mansion Wedding…
